Coral Necklace and lariet

Just last week,I've finally done a new coral necklace and a lariet.
The coral necklace is a pretty big piece.Under the coral, some oxidized chain is hanging with pearls and crystals.
I design this necklace when I was an F.I.T student and finally I could make the actual piece.



I love the ocean and sea organisms, so coral and pearls are one of my favorite motifs.I imagine a mermaid, or the ruler of and aquatic kingdom wearing this necklace.
I made this necklace as a showpiece but it will be good for a party or special event.

Also, I made a coral lariet for someone who likes simplicity.



Silver coral and a crystal are connected at the end of oxidized chain. This lariet is worn making a knot loosely without using a clasp.You can adjust length. This is good for daily use.

Wedding Necklace

On this Jan, I got e-mail from my old friend, Taka.He asked me to make a wedding necklace for his sister.Since the wedding was hold on Feb, I rushed making jewelry.
His request was ' somehow, gorgeous! '.
I made my one of important works, honey comb necklace white version and I set stones on honeycomb part.I send it with a nice blue box to Japan.



After his sister's wedding, he send me e-mail again and he said his sister and he was really happy with my necklace.I was really happy to hear that.

I met this friend, Taka when I was 20 years old in Perth, Australia. He was my neighborhood and one of best friends.We used to go to fishing everyday.Since it was my first experience to live in foreign country, I shared many exciting sometime difficult experience with my firnd.

After we went back to Japan, since we lived far each other so it was difficult to meet. However ; still I believe he is one of important friends in my life.

Now he works in Iran as an environment specialist and I'm in NY as a Jewelry Designer.It is really difficult to see each other ; however, I was really glad that my friend remembered me and order wedding necklace for his sister, also I was really happy to take a part of his sister's important moment.I was honored and privileged to be a jewelry designer.

During making Jewelry, I remember many great memory in Perth and I missed beautiful scenery.
I thought, someday I really want to visit Perth again.

Coral Necklace

A stylist send me a photo from phototshoot.
They used my coral necklace.
The coral necklace looks nice with a model.
Each coral has different size so it takes time to set corals.
This necklace would be nice for summer.
I'm making other coral necklace and earring and ring for a coral collection.

Armory Show

After fashion week, many art events are holding in New York.
I went to a one of big art show, Armory Show in last weekend.
This is third time to go to this event.
In this event, there are many gallery booth from all over the world and you can see many great art works, such as paintings, sculpture, video art, photography.

I could see some of interesting Art with Jewelry.
I want to introduce some of impressive works from the show.
