News about the earthquakes in Japan is big in New York too.
Since I'm from Japan and my family is in Japan, people have asked me about my family and friends.
I appreciate their concern.
Fortunately, most of my family and friends are in the south part of Japan so they weren't involved in this disaster.
However, this news is really shocking to me.
It is hard to accept the reality of the situation.
I saw many donation boxes everywhere in New York.
I believe it is important to find what can I do and be active about it, not an onlooker.
In the first place, I donated to the red cross even it though not much.
To raise money for victims, one of my interns is organizing a charity concert and another intern is doing chiropractic work to donate.
I'm also thinking what can I do for victims now.
From a window in the studio, I can see that the small buds have sprouted forth leaves.
I wish the victims to have calm days as soon aspossible.
